Three of the Genghis directors have previously worked in the stock broking industry at senior management level, an invaluable asset as far as steering the company’s operations is concerned.
Zafrullah Khan-Chairman
Mr. Khan has a strong banking and audit background having worked in various senior capacities at Credit Agricole Indosuez where he rose to the post of Managing Director of its wholly owned subsidiary; Indosuez Merchant Finance (K) Limited. Before joining banking, he worked with the international audit firm; Coopers & Lybrand as an audit senior. He has also worked as Managing Director of Francis Drummond Ltd, a well known stock brokerage firm.Mr. Khan is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) where he sits onthe Banking Committee. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK).
James Gachui - Director
Mr. Gachui is the Chairman of Wananchi Online, one of the country’s largest Internet Service Providers. He also has variousbusiness interests ranging from finance, technology and a leading quoted cable and conductors manufacturer. He comes to the Board with over 15 years of multinational experience at Total International, where he rose to the position of Managing Director. Mr. Gachui holds a degree in Chemical Engineering (Honours).
Duncan Kabui-Director
Mr. Kabui comes from a financial services background in investments and stock broking. He is also associated with Chase Bank (K) Ltd, where he holds the position of Deputy Managing Director, having held various managerial positions in treasury and assets. Mr. Kabui holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration. |
